Paul Heintz.net

Welcome to Paul Heintz.net

What is Paul Heintz.net? It is the personal website for me, Paul Heintz, a software developer in the Milwaukee, Wisconsin area. I host this server on a Linux machine on my home internet connection. So why am I running this site on a private server? Several reasons. First and foremost, I wanted a site that I could use as a portfolio available to the public showcasing some of the work I've done in school and independently. Along the same lines, this site provides a way for people to contact me, view my resumé, and get to know me both professionally and personally. Additionally, it provides a resource I can use when testing applications I'm working on aside from my local development environment, and a computer I can use to improve my Linux administration knowledge. Finally, this site gives me remote access to code I've written in the past in case I need to reference it in the future, as well as providing remote access to files, databases, etc. that I may need access to.

I hope you find whatever you may be looking for on the site. If you have any questions, comments, suggestions, requests, or just want to say hi, feel free to contact me. If you want to know more about me, head on over to the "about" section. Have a good day!
